All carvings are rough cut with chain saws and finished with hand
tools to realistic detail, then oiled and\or varnished. Staining or
burning are also an option at no additional cost. Availability of
large logs are a major factor in determining the wood species used.
Prices are for the finished carvings only. Costs for transport and
mounting are extra."

BIG
GRIZZ Standing 8 foot
tall, he was handcrafted for the TWO RIVERS Store at the Forks
Market. This bear was carved out of an elm log with a diameter of 30
inches. There are special regulations regarding the movement of elm
wood as the dreaded Dutch Elm Disease spreads via the bark beetles.
Thus I had to peel the log first at the location where it was cut
before transporting it home!
